Determining the Mineral Admixture and Fiber on Mechanics and Fracture Properties of Concrete under Sulfate Attack

The concrete structure in the coastal area suffers from combined erosion of sulfate and dry–wet cycles. In this study, order to modify ordinary concrete, fly ash, slag powder, silica fume polyester fiber are added separately. crack resistance was studied through mechanical performance test three-point bending fracture notched beam under load-crack opening displacement (P-CMOD) curve characteristics, toughness energy modified after corrosion calculated analyzed. Results reveal that P-CMOD has gone four stages damage: initial section, proportional elastic stable expansion section softening section. With increase cycles, overall toughening coefficient increases first then decreases. Adding 25% ash can significantly enhance stage. addition is beneficial improvement instability later
